Selection cards from the 1997 expansion draft were used to announce each of the 70 players drafted from exisiting Major League teams by the new Arizona Diamondbacks and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Information on the card includes the drafting team, the player's previous team or organization, position, draft round, and selection number.
